We went to a Lexington Legends Baseball game on Tuesday evening. After reaching our seats, Alexander was begging to play at the kids' play area. I set the timer for 10 minutes and then we went to play. He enjoyed bouncing, playing soccer, and baseball. We didn't see much of the game, but we had a great time with Sarah and Caroline.
Audrey was studying the program. The kids enjoyed visiting with their great grandmother, Nana.
Mimi enjoys her sweet snuggles with baby Owen.
Friday we went to Juniper Hills park for a picnic and play time. It was a beautiful day.
We were so proud of Carter for winning second place in the Frankfort Country Club's Junior Golf Tournament. Way to go, Carter Tate.
After our busy morning at the park Owen and Alexander enjoyed a nap on the porch. Mommy used to take naps in the swing on that same porch when she was a teenager.
Adam took the kids to Southern Seminary in Louisville while Mommy and Mimi prepared for Kelley's bridal shower.
Sunday night we visited Uncle Derrick and his family. We see some resemblance between Owen and Derrick. Audrey and Alexander enjoyed playing with Conner and Carson. It was a busy week. We had lots of fun. In the midst of all our play we had a special wedding shower for Kelley. There will be a separate post about that. We have one more week in Frankfort and many more people to visit, so we better get busy.
