Kids Triathlon

The kids all completed their first triathlon on Saturday.  Alexander swan 75 yards, biked 1.76 miles, and ran .98 miles.  Audrey and Owen swim 25 yards and biked and ran .49 miles.  I was one proud mama bear. 

The youngest one was a bit nervous and there were a few tears shed, but with some convincing from Daddy and the promise of a chocolate milkshake later that day he got in the water wearing his Puddle Jumper. 

The biking was a struggle for Auj due to a wobbly bike. She nailed the run though. 

 Alexander was 37th out of 72 in his age group of 7-10 year olds.  Audrey was 18th of 54 and Owen was 45th in the 4-6 age group. 

They have all been practicing and hopefully learned a bit about hard work and determination.  It would be great if they had the love of fitness like Adam and I do.
